Somerset U17's Eligibility

Players who are currently eligible for U16’s age grade rugby or have attended trials and represented Somerset U16’s or another County in the same season are not eligible.

The County Objective for this age group is to have development based selection giving aspiring U17 players within Somerset the opportunity to represent and wear the County shirt.

To qualify to represent the County, players must match at least one of the following criteria:-

(a) Somerset born

(b) Living in Somerset

(c) Attending a Somerset School

(d) Playing for an affiliated Combination club.
